Ugyen, a schoolteacher in his final year of State service and an aspiring singer, has been sent against his wishes to the world’s most remote school, in the village of Lunana in northern Bhutan, a Buddhist kingdom in Southern Asia, known as the happiest place on earth. Shot on-location and on solar batteries in the Himalayan glaciers at an average altitude of 5,000 meters or 3.1 miles.
